God’s Promise

My thoughts and imagination of what I feel day-to-day are what takes up the space in my phone’s note app.

Times when I just want to express myself without grabbing my journal and looking through my bucket of pens to find the right one, I freeform and it turns into a masterpiece.

So, I’ve decided to share.

Here’s a conversation that I encountered with God– one that I believe you, too, will relate to.

God’s Promise

GOD: Patience my daughter.

ME: Sit still? That’s dead.

GOD: You’ve been working really hard, you have to stop and rest.

ME: Well I have a mission to complete, and time doesn’t stop.

GOD: Surely it doesn’t, but you must take care of yourself so you can make it to the top.

ME: Will I make it at this rate? What if I lose track of time?

GOD: You won’t because I am the Devine.

GOD: Tell me what’s your biggest fear. Why are you in a rush?

ME: I’m afraid that I’ll get comfortable, if I don’t push.

GOD: You are made to thrive in this world my daughter, I have given you the tools that you need. Don’t ever think you are not enough because I created you for me.

ME: So you know my every move and my every thought?

GOD: Yes, because I am at the center of it all.

ME: What if I call you and there’s no answer?

GOD: That’s when you listen to your heart, the one I have in my hands forever.

ME: What if I get stuck? Confused? Lost?

GOD: Take a deep breath in and remember I am orchestrating it all. No matter the hour, you can always call.

ME: Thank you God. I love you.
